UIC Forum, Chicago, IL– On Sunday, January 20th, the Lane Tech Cheerleading team continued their dominance at the City Championships. They won the competition with ease at UIC and received yet another championship for Lane Tech. This is the third consecutive City Championship the Lane Tech Cheer team has won.
At the start of the season, this was a competition that the Cheer team circled on their calendar because of their success in the event the past two seasons. They were in control from start to finish. The Indians finished 15 points ahead of the second place finish and had zero deductions in their performance. It was a stellar all-around showing that secured the three-peat.
The Cheer team will look to build on this milestone at the IHSA Sectionals on January 26th at Niles West High School.
